Welcome to the Gamesylvania Blog
Welcome to my website! Actually, this is only the blog… the real site is over here, but that’s not important right now. Right now, I want to answer a few questions, like “Why is this blog here?”
Well, my goal with this blog is entertain, inspire and sell you things. Why am I trying to sell you things? Because that’s how I make money. Gamesylvania is all about selling used and new video games and peripherals. For example, want to buy Xbox 360 games? Perhaps you’d rather buy Sega Genesis games? Or maybe you’d prefer to buy Super Nintendo games? Check ‘em out! Buy them! Help a guy out…
Now, meanwhile, I’m here to entertain you. I like to write things that I think are funny. For example, I noticed that people get the names Blaster Master and Master Blaster mixed up a bit. That could prove pretty dangerous, so I wrote a helpful guide on how to tell the difference between Blaster Master and Master Blaster. I also wrote a fun article on why the RoadBlasters car is better than your car. It’s kind of what I do.
Finally, when I’m not trying to entertain, I’d like to hope that I’m able to inspire other people. For instance, here’s an interview Gary Vincent. Gary is President of the American Classic Arcade Museum. I got to talk to him in Boston, at PAX East 2010. It was amazing! I like what he’s doing for classic arcade games, and I’d like to think other people might do the same based on what I’ve written. Here’s an interview with another rad guy I met at PAX, DJ Cutman. Another fun interview that, hopefully, you’ll find interesting enough to go out and try something cool to do on your own.
Well, if being inspired or entertained isn’t your thing, at least I got in one last chance to try and sell you something from my video game store. Thanks!
Dale
